Quotes to make you smile!

At the ward Christmas party, Santa came and on the way home Gio and Angelo were talking and Angelo said "Gio remember not to pout Santa Claus is coming to church"

Gio wanted to pretend to be an animal so he says "pick out a nice animal for me to be" I said "Be a seal, that's different" I don't want to Gio said "there mean, you know because they slap" "with those big slappers"

Gio was pretending to be a dog and I said go over there and play he said " I can't understand you, I don't speak human"

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am doing my Thanksgiving post a few days early. There are so many things I am thankful for, but this year I wanted to write down some of my favorite things I am thankful for so here they are:
-my family
-my family being healthy
-church and all the blessings that come with that(temple, eternal family, callings)
-my house that keeps me warm and safe
-my cars
-my job
-warm sun on my skin
-the beach
-having breakfast for dinner
-M and M's
-Halloween
-day after Halloween shopping
-black Friday
-Christmas
-funny movies
-for having the best parents
-for having a beautiful niece
-for chocolate fountains
-for friends
-and this list could go on forever, I have so much to be thankful for!I hope that everyone can remember the things they have to be thankful for and not all the things that they do not have or want. Happy Thanksgiving!

Christiano's 2nd Birthday!

I can not believe the baby of our family is 2! I know everyone says it but it truly went so fast.  He is an energetic little boy who loves playing with his brothers. He loves to play sports (football, soccer and baseball) I am pretty confident that he is going to go Pro since he already is so good. So my advice is to get his autograph early, of course when he knows how to write. He loves trains and Curious George. He is a funny little boy who can make you smile with his long lashes, especially as he answers no to every question. I just hope the next 2 years go a little slower.

As the Frugone's world turns

I have devastating news for everyone who follows the daily ups and downs of 1st grade. Giovanni announced today that he "broke up" with Jenna today and is now dating Abby! Shocking I know! When I said why I thought you liked Jenna, he thought about it for a little bit and said " Your right I do like Jenna, that's it they will both have to be my girlfriends."

Then told me if I am sleeping at 7:30 when Abby shows up for our dance date, could you tell her I am sorry. Sure buddy, will do!

WANTED: One family named La Claire

Wanted: The La Claire's
Where:   New Jersey
Why:       Because their awesome and I miss hanging out with them and getting to see them.
How:       I would say fly, because the drive seemed long but if you do decide to drive I will have       Chicken Parm. waiting for your coming home dinner.
When:     Now would be good

Things to love about New Jersey: We have a new governor, house prices are low, fall leaves (although I will admit there almost gone, BUT they will be back again every year), less snow, that when it snows we CANCEL stuff, school everyday (:0)  chicken parm. dinner, getting to use your talents, a family named Frugone. I think that is pretty swaying information.

New profession

Okay, so I started thinking I am going to become a professional blogger. There is only one thing standing in my way....The fact that I don't blog that often! Big obstacle! Going to try to fix that.
so here I go:
Today was our Primary Presentation. It was AWESOME! We have very talented children that really showed that they knew what reverence was today.  They sang with all their hearts and gave me chills. Our solo performance even brought tears to my eyes. It was very exciting to have my parents there and give them a little show of what our children are learning. I can't believe I was given the opportunity to be the Primary President. I am very blessed!

Carlos' black eye???

Okay, so Carlos loves to wrestle with the boys, but maybe he should not teach them so much!
He was playing with Giovanni on Sunday, and he layed down on his belly on the couch to hide from him.   Giovanni snuck around the corner of the couch and there was a little hole, he took his fist and punched up and hit Carlos square in the eye.  Carlos jumped up off the couch and was just holding his eye. Meanwhile, Giovanni is dancing around saying "Oh yeah I got you good."

When Carlos took his hand down from his eye, I said "I better get you an ice pack" He had a cut under his eye and a purple eye!!

When he got up the next day for work, he had a full black eye!!!! I had to take a picture I will try to put it up! Giovanni definitely got him good.

P.S. I forgot to mention Carlos had to present at work on Monday....OOPS!

Mother's Day!

I had such a great Mother's day! It started the day before, Carlos asked me what I wanted to eat for Mother's day (You know out of the small amount of things he know how to cook :). So I made my list and out to the store he went.  On Mother's Day he took all the boys downstairs, while I rested in bed. Then they came back upstairs, with breakfast and each of them had their cards.  I also got a very sweet card from Carlos.  One of those cards that said everything, that you hope your husband is thinking!

Then off to church, which was nice.  Except the whole time we were sitting in Relief Society listening to a good talk, I kept thinking I guess this is why I am in Primary.  Why you ask....because I have an attention span of a child, I could not wait to get up and walk around!!

Then home to relax and have Carlos make dinner! Then give all of of our kids baths. It was a pretty great day! I guess I will be working hard on Father's day!

Giovanni asked me when it is kid's day, I told him that would be everyday.

FHE

Not growing up in a Mormon family, I never had nor never heard of Family Home Evening. So when we joined the church and started having a family I was excited of the thought of it. You know the THOUGHT of it! I imagined singing Primary songs, doing fun family activities, reading the scriptures together and coloring. Well it goes more like this.......

Me: Okay everyone time for Family Home evening
Today we are going to talk about being a good example

Giovanni: I already know how to be a good example

Me: Yeah I know but we are going to talk about how Jesus' is a good example

Angelo: Is there going to be a snack?

Me: Yes there will be a snack.

Angelo: When can we have snack?

Me: After we are done talking.

Me: Okay Daddy is going to start with a scripture.

Giovanni: I know we should be a good example like Jesus

Me: Yes, we should Daddy is going to read a scripture about that.

Angelo: Are we done talking yet? Are we ready for a snack yet?

Me: I just look at Carlos.....I would say are we almost done but 10 minutes has passed and we did not start yet.

Lucky for me Carlos is good about catching their attention. Without him I am pretty sure I would have just served snack! So it is not going the way I thought but at least we try!

Where does the time go??

I have been slacking on my blog! But since Easter Carlos and I have both been sick.  We have been the Pediatrician 3 times in 2 weeks.  The kids have had the stomach flu, strep throat and a viral respiratory infection (swine flu if you ask me!).  So between being sick, going to the doctors, having sick kids, waiting in a torturous line at Walmart Pharmacy our time together has been decreased.

Add to that T-ball practice twice a week, dentist appointment, visiting Angelo's new preschool, preparing for Primary and eye doctor appointment. Whew!! writing it all down makes me exhausted.  If we can change Daylight savings time...do you think we can change how many hours are in the day?

When I am old...

My Aunt had broken her hip a few months ago and has not been able to drive since then, she wanted to go to the store herself to look around. I was being nice and offered to take her to Walmart and the dollar store.  Then my Grandmother ended up coming to stay at my Mom's house.  So then the plan changed to taking my Aunt and Grandmother to the store, not to mention it is the beginning of Spring Break so the tally is 2 people over the age of 80 and 3 under the age of 5.  Carlos ended up being home today (luckily) so only kid who wanted to come with me was Angelo (a silent sigh of relief).

So it started off not to bad, at the dollar store my Grandmother came out looking at her receipt and said "Can you believe they charged me a dollar for this candle?" I answered yes, I could believe it since she had bought it in the dollar store!!! Well she proceed to go back into the store and return it.

Then Walmart where my Aunt decides to try out an electronic scooter for the first time. All I can say about that is if you ever see an older person in the scooter it is best to move out of the way....quickly!!

Then they were arguing with the cashier saying that the gift card had 25.00 dollars on it not 20.00!!

We went to lunch and sat in a pizzeria for about 10 minutes because my Aunt insisted they had waitresses, even though the front of the restaurant was set up Cafeteria style.

Dropped my Aunt off, but before leaving had to stop inside to pick up literally 20 containers of juice and milk that she gets daily.

So moral of the story, I hope that when I am over the age of 80 can not walk that fast, run over strangers with an electronic scooter, return things to the dollar store for lack of quality, fight with cashiers even though I am wrong, act nasty to my family that is taking me out and think that just because I am over the age of 80 people should wait on me that my family will love to be around me and take me places!

First Blog

So, my first blog! I am pretty sure I should have started this blog in January and the entries would have been more entertaining. You know with stories of a flooded house, living in a hotel with 3 boys for 6 weeks, painting a 18 foot foyer, freaking out at Becky as she tried to help clean my kitchen, first trip to Costco with the Wards, Giovanni's classroom at church being the room that was flooded from the broken boiler, trying to help with my sister in laws shower from my hotel and who can forget eating at the Wards and then there appliances breaking while we were there??!!

I promise I will try my best to entertain but I am pretty sure January has the rest of the year beat....at least that is what we are hoping.
